Practical information

Finding PSE

The conference will take place at PSE, which is based at 48 Boulevard Jourdan, 75014 Paris. The campus can be reached easily by public transport. The RER B stops at "Cité Universitaire," and connects to Charles De Gaulle Airport, Orly Airport, and Gare du Nord. Metro line 4 stops at Porte d'Orléans.

Finding hotel accommodation

Participants are expected to arrange their own accommodation. Options in Paris are plentiful. PSE is located near the administrative border of the city of Paris, and participants may also want to consider hotel accommodation in nearby neighborhoods that are cheaper than the city center, but well connected to PSE, like Montrouge, Gentilly, or Arcueil.

We can provide an official invitation letter to the conference to include in your visa application. Please email: icde.2023@gmail.com.

Schedule

We will finalize the schedule of presentations once registrations have been closed (15 May). The conference will start at 8.45 on Monday 3 July and end around 18.30 on Tuesday 4 July.

Conference dinner

We will organize a conference dinner on the evening of Monday 3 July. The dinner will take place in central Paris, close to metro/RER station "Les Halles". The registration fee covers the conference dinner to the conference. We will collect information about dietary restrictions in the weeks before the conference.

Aggressive behavior/harassment/discrimination

(i)    All forms of aggressive behavior (including verbal) have no place in exchanges between colleagues.

(ii)    If you are a victim or witness of discrimination or moral/sexual harassment, you can contact Marie Bolz (m.boltz[at]unistra.fr) and Jalil  Nordman (jalil.nordman[at]ird.fr), who are referents for harassment issues in the AFEDEV, during and after the conference.
